Pullman Instruments Central, formally known as Milton Keynes Instrumentation Services Ltd (MKIS Calibration), was established in 1983, It ran as an independent partnership until its acquisition in June 2018 by the Everett Smith Group. The company’s combination of industry expertise and listening to the needs of both customers and their brand partners has established them as one of the UK’s leading calibration laboratories. Pullman Instruments Central is based in Kiln Farm, one of the first industrial areas of Milton Keynes, and further supported by group laboratories across the UK. A dedicated team of professionals provide a quick and reliable response to a wide range of test equipment both in house and at our customers sites.

Workmanship

At Pullman Instruments we hold approvals as a repair centre from leading manufacturers, all instruments are repaired to manufacturers standards using authorised parts where possible.

Approvals

The UKAS accredited services previously offered by our central laboratory have been consolidated into our main scope of accreditation and will be available through our Harrogate laboratory, please contact our technical team for more information.

Sales & Repair

At Pullman Instruments Central we pride ourselves in providing our customers with fully accredited or traceable calibration results for the equipment and instruments they ask us to test. In most cases this equipment passes without issue. Occasionally equipment fails the standards set and it is necessary to either repair or replace those items.

We offer a full repair and maintenance service for existing equipment and can supply from in-house stock or source the appropriate replacement equipment needed to carry out precision tasks, improve quality standards and reduce risk. Our sales division can supply new equipment for any type of instrument whether electrical, mechanical or dimensional.

Pullman Instruments (UK) Ltd, based in Chatsworth Terrace, Harrogate is a UK company providing a high quality calibration and repair service and the supply of both electronic and mechanical instruments.

Pullman Instruments is accredited by UKAS (The United Kingdom Accreditation Service) to ISO/IEC 17025 as Calibration Laboratory 0683 and registered to ISO 9001:2015 by NQA.

Pullman Instruments has run a fully accredited UKAS laboratory since 2002. We offer a wide range of accredited calibrations, including Electrical, temperature and pressure (*see our current schedule). But don’t worry if you can’t see what you’re looking for on our schedule as we also provide a one stop shop for all UKAS calibrations through our extensive range of service partners.

Our longevity as a calibration laboratory enables us to easily source an accredited calibration for all your needs.

Added confidence in the services we provide is also shown by the other approvals we hold including UVDB, RISQS, SafeContractor and Cyber Essentials.
