What we've done and what we're doing!

Food Packaging Equipment Calibration 
Whenever you hear the word Plastic recently, you cannot help considering the global issues felt due to the environmental impacts through their manufacture, and their reuse and recyclability.

We support the manufacture of a wide-range of formed plastic food packaging, used all over the world by food production companies and fast food outlets.

For over a decade we have supported the manufacturing processes used within organisations. As the environmental issues have increased relating to plastic packaging, so the way the materials are made has had to follow suit. We provide traceable calibration systems implemented on site, aligned with planned maintenance schedules.

Bespoke Pressure & Flow Test Rig
For some time now we have been collaborating on a special project to test and issue a full calibration on a bespoke test rig comprising of dedicated capabilities of Pressure, Vacuum, Tension & Compression, Linear motion, Oxygen Levels, Temperature and Flow.

This project has been some 3 years in the development, and has proven to be a great success.

For some time now we have been collaborating on a special project to test and issue a full calibration on a bespoke test rig comprising of dedicated capabilities of Pressure, Vacuum, Tension & Compression, Linear motion, Oxygen Levels, Temperature and Flow.

This project has been some 3 years in the development, and has proven to be a great success.
Biomechanical Simulator
We have worked hard in recent years developing an in-house Biomechanical testing system used to implement intensive product testing of artificial hip and knee joints.

At first in-house testing was considered acceptable as each system required a verification process before any test runs are completed. This was due to increased accountability, due to the need to demonstrate test results against Nationally and Internationally recognised standards.

The project has taken an in-house testing process and moved it to a fully-accredited system, calibrated to meet current BSI Specifications with full UKAS accuracies against all known loads, torques, timings and angles.
