Managing Director
Nathan has owned Pullman Instruments since 2008, following his father, Colin Smith, retired. He wanted to continue with the growth and development of Pullman Instruments as a major player in the service and calibration market. Nathan is a University of Salford graduate. Following his degree he worked in the Quality department at Land-Rover, purchasing of parts of the Rover fleet of vehicles.
Additional to ESG, Nathan also owns Flow-Mon, a flow indicator manufacturing company.
Service Director
Mark joined Pullman in 1984, and has progressed through the organisation to become Service Director. He manages the UKAS accreditation and technical services, working with the Head of Technical Services. Together, they provide the service & repair of equipment for the entire spectrum of technical disciplines, manufacturers and products.
Mark manages the continued growth and expansion of the business, additional UKAS disciplines and maintains the professionalism of the business.
Sales Director
Mark has worked for Pullman for over 30 years, beginning his employment in 1982. He joined the business from school and has continued working through the business, becoming Sales Director in 2008.
Mark has served his time as man and boy, in all of the technical elements of the company, managing the workshops and labs provided the technical base to allow the transition in to the sales orientated side of the growth needed for Pullman to develop.
Financial Controller
Liz joined the company in mid 2013 and has a solid background in accounting. Liz qualified as a chartered accountant in York and spent eight years working in the Thames Valley, four of which were as branch office manager.
As she return to Yorkshire, she worked for national firm of accountants, following which she worked for 16 years in Knaresborough as financial controller. Liz brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to Pullman and has proved to be a great asset to the group.
Head of Technical Services
Tony joined Pullman in 1995, after working as an apprentice at Farnell electronics in Wetherby.
At Pullman Tony has worked in a number of areas of the business, including managing the labs, the service department and the company IT. Additionally, he manages all company on-site work and the technical team, along with Mark Conboy. Tony has a major involvement in the development of the UKAS capabilities managing and maintain our UKAS accreditation.
QHSE Manager
Steve Cantlow joined Pullman in 2002, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained in both the insurance and mortgage industries.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, Steve is also a qualified auditor, and is IOSH Managing Safety approved. Steve helps to ensure that Pullman maintains both the ISO 9001: 2015 and UKAS ISO/IEC 17025:2005, along with other approvals such as LINK UP, SAFE CONTRACTOR, and UVDB.
